(SAP R/3 → Business Central (FiBu))

We are looking for a motivated “Consultant ERP-Migration” who wants to take on challenging tasks while growing both professionally and personally. 

Role Summary: 

We are looking for a skilled Consultant to bring their expertise to the continuous development and maintenance of our internal software solutions. You will play a critical role in migrating our financial accounting processes from SAP R/3 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities: 

·      Analysis: Analyze existing financial accounting processes and data structures in SAP R/3.

·      Migration Design & Execution: Design and implement data migration from SAP R/3 to Business Central.

·      Development: Develop and customize Extensions in Business Central using AL language.

·      Data Mapping: Perform mapping and transformation of financial data (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets).

·      Testing: Execute and optimize test migrations; ensure data quality and consistency. 

·      Collaboration: Work closely with business departments, especially Finance.

·      Support: Assist with Go-Live and post-migration support. 

·      Integration: Develop and adapt new interfaces (APIs) as needed. 
 
Required Qualifications: 

·      Education: Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science)

·      Experience: 3+ years of experience in ERP projects, ideally involving SAP and/or Business Central.

·      SAP R/3: Familiarity with FI module and underlying data structures.

·      Business Central: AL development experience. 

·      Databases: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Strong background in data migration and data modeling.

·      Business Process Understanding: Solid grasp of accounting/finance processes (knowledge of local taxation, sales tax, income tax, and basic IFRS is required; knowledge of German HGB is a plus but not mandatory). 

Preferred: 

·      Prior experience with SAP → Business Central migrations.

·      Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Power Platform).

·      Experience in ETL tools (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory) with basic ABAP knowledge.

·      Experience with REST and OData interfaces.
