We are looking for a motivated “IT Engineer ” who wants to take on challenging tasks while growing both professionally and personally. 

About the Role: 

primasystems is seeking an IT Engineer to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure and systems. The role requires a hands-on professional capable of managing servers, networks, endpoints, security, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and endpoints.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, servers, and workstations.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
• Manage Windows/Linux systems and enterprise applications.
• Implement system updates, patches, backups, and maintenance procedures.
• Support network services including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and system issues.
• Maintain IT security controls and access management.
• Perform system monitoring and incident troubleshooting.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration records.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required.
• Assist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and IT projects.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and priorities.

Nice to Have: 

• CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V.
• EntraID and other Cloud infrastructure experience.
• Firewall and network security experience.
• PowerShell or Bash scripting knowledge.
