We are looking for a motivated “Software Engineer” who wants to take on challenging tasks while growing both professionally and personally. 

About the Role: 

primasystems is looking for a skilled Software Engineer – Python to design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills and experience developing backend services, APIs, and database-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and business logic.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
• Develop automated tests and maintain test coverage.
• Follow software development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions.
• Maintain technical documentation for applications and services.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of Git and software development workflows.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with FastAPI/Django REST Framework.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
• Cloud development experience.
• Familiarity with Redis, Celery, or message queues.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of automated testing using PyTest or similar.
